Teacher Appreciation!
It is a week full of gifts and treats for the teachers. It is the much needed boost we all need to get us through the rest of the year! It is the best week because more often than not we teachers feel more under appreciated then appreciated. We are criticized more then praised for the countless hours we spend planning and preparing for our kids each week!
My room mom planned all the activities so on Monday she brought me and Kari (my student teacher) a big bouquet of flowers each and decorated our door, on Tuesday, a basket with our favorite candy and drink in it, and on Wednesday she brought us lunch from Pizza Factory. I can hardly wait till tomorrow!
The other room moms in the school went above and beyond when decorating our doors (I feel a contest in the air!) so I had to take a few pictures of my favorites. Feel free to exit my blog right now because I realize these pics may not be the most interesting for some! But for all you room moms out there, you may appreciate some of these ideas! Especially the Edward door! So creative!
Don't forget to tell all your teachers what a great job they are doing~we REALLY appreciate it!
The Garfield was all hand painted. This teacher has everything Garfield!
The flowers and letters were all done in vinyl!
It says, "Mrs. Cafferty is so sweet! Edward wants a bite!" The kids are going crazy about him. Half of them are scared to death of it!

Would be great to meet up for lunch while you're in Boise. I think Suze has my number...if not, she can get it from my dad. Give me a call as it gets closer.
I love the doors. I volunteered to do Mr. Bullock's. Any suggestions? He loves soccer and camping. I thought I'd do a soccer field door...lame?
On an unrelated note: Adam in the bottom three? Are you kidding me? True his performance wasn't my fave. But he is Adam. And as a side note, I heart Danny. And as another side note, the right person went home in my opinion.

How freakin cool is that !! Secondary teachers get jibbed in this category.. but you deserve it more cause you guys definitely work harder :)

This is the best week! The only trouble is all the treats for me! When will this diet ever end? I just want to lose one more pound. Is that crazy or what?
