I missed last Thursday, so I'm going to do double this week:1. My Student teacher: She is doing a great job and trying so hard to be the best teacher she can! She also thought she was finished March 20 so I quickly had to inform her she has until April 20! She took the news ok!
2. St. George: I am glad we don't have the traffic and amount of people like CA! Although Jake and I did great with our driving in CA we were so happy to be back in little 'ol St. George!
3. Pets: While we were gone, Daisy (our cat) stayed home by herself with my mom and dad checking on her each day. My mom commented that she was looking skinnier and we all though, yeah sure! When we got home and saw her, she was noticeably slimmer and decided we better find out why. As I went downstairs I heard the smoke alarm chirp and remembered it was doing that when we left. The poor cat had endured 5 days of Chinese torture due to the chirping smoke alarm! No wonder she wouldn't eat her food because it was right under it! When we brought Kallie home, she wouldn't even go downstairs until the chirping would stop! Poor pets!
4. My parents and Rachelle: For kindly taking care of our pets while we were gone!
5. American Idol: Gives me something to look forward to each week and I'm taking bets that Adam will win! I think he is awesome!
6. Books: I love almost every book I read! Gives me a great escape each night! Gives me motivation to wake up because I have about 30 min. by myself to read each morning!
7. Taylor: She is growing up right before my eyes! I feel like she is on a Discovery channel movie where they show things growing at an accelerated pace! I want to change it to slow motion!
8. Paige: When Taylor went off with her friends at Disneyland Jake grabbed Paige's hand and said, "Don't ever let go!" I agree! They just grow up to fast!
9. Kym and Brian: We stayed with them while in CA and want to thank them for their generous hospitality, delicious food, comfy beds and good company!
10. Jake: For trying to handle his new Head Coaching responsibilities very calm, cool, and collected! Thanks again Kevin!
