Friday night Desert Hills played their first ever football game and completely caught everyone off guard! They beat Uintah 36-3! The boys were so excited as well as the coaches!! I was afraid nerves were going to keep Kevin from the game, but he did a great job! Him and Jake made a great team together on the field (not to mention the other coaches as well!)! That night we got home around 1:00 and we were all completely exhausted except Jake. He said he couldn't sleep because he was too excited! I replied by saying I wasn't excited because I was already too nervous about next week. That is what he always used to say when Dixie would win! It was great to finally see him relaxed and just plain excited for once! Thanks Kevin for taking the reins! Let the Thunder keep rollin'!

Yea so glad for you guys.. to be happy and relaxed after a game.. imagine that :>) Still miss jake, but i will get over it.. just so you don't beat the blue !!! :>) that is gonna be the hardest... O.K. where have I been. I had no idea that Jake had made the BIG switch until the other day I saw him in a newspaper picture. Seriously, do I live in a cave? Yale and I will be strong supporters. With Jake as coach, and our kids being in their bounderies...Go Thunder. Also, I am so glad that Paige is on the soccer team. Now I will be able to chit chat with you, at least for a couple of months.
