Well, I guess I should continue my memories of our summer vacation. Next stop was Grandma Suzi's in Cody, WY. She has a great backyard with a pool, trampoline and tire swing. The kids played outside forever!

Next, Jake and I went to Red Lodge, MT for our 13th anniversary. We stayed in a cute little cabin that had a hot tub out front. We met Jake's sister Jenny and her husband Tom. We had a great time at the Pig races. Jake was the only big winner of the night! Later Jake shared some delicious chicken pizza with a friendly biker and ended up with food poisoning for the night and most of the next day! I shopped down town while he slept it off! Let that be a lesson to you all-never share day old pizza with a biker, even if you think you are starving!

Cody is only about 45 miles from Yellowstone so this year we finally took the opportunity to go. It was very interesting to see how much as grown back since the fires about 20 years ago. We saw buffalo, elk, deer and finally on our way out a grizzly bear! It was pretty far away so our pictures didn't turn out so good, but it was still exciting to see! We walked around the trails by Old Faithful while we waited for it to go off again. Taylor was so nervous that we were going to miss it, but luckily we didn't. It was pretty amazing!
