Jake and I had the opportunity to attend cheer with Taylor. They invited moms one week and dads the next. When I went they taught us a dance then put us into groups to make up the last 8 counts! My group wanted to do somersaults at the end! I haven't done one of those in years. I also don't do well upside down in my older age. I was very dizzy at first, but battled through for the final performance! We played a game called "Lovers Leap" which Taylor and I won! It was very entertaining watching some moms trying back handsprings and other various tumbling acts that I'm sure they hadn't tried in years!

Jake didn't have much to say about his night except they got 2nd in the "Lovers Leap" game!! His friend asked if he was sore the next day and he said no, so I guess the yoga we have been doing is paying off!

We both had fun just being with Taylor. We are looking forward to going to Anaheim in a couple of weeks to watch her team compete at Nations. Oh, and visit Disneyland and Brian and Kym to of course!

How fun to get to be involved in your kid's stuff. You don't get to say you are too old to be upside-down, BTW. Just sayin'.
