So again, I am a little behind in my blogging which I'm not sure why since it is summer and all! I guess I can say I've been busy trying to entertain two girls and get some projects done. I'm proud to say I've been successful at both so far! My blog is the only thing suffering, so I'd say that's not too bad!

Well back to Paige's birthday real quick! I realize it was May 16, but I have just one last thing to say! I ordered a cake for Paige because if you know her, she LOVES cake!! She usually picks her cake out many months in advance! Well this year I thought I'd surprise her with an extra special cake!

Is that not the cutest cake you have ever seen??? She was so surprised and excited! Nobody wanted to cut it because it was so beautiful! I just wish it had tasted as good as it looked!!!

Paige has also been into cooking since her birthday. Her Grandma Suze gave her some cookbooks and a very cute apron, so she has been baking up a storm. Here's a glimpse of what she has made lately! The top picture is Peach Bars, and the bottom was a Fruit Tart! Yummy stuff!
I am so excited to be finished with the school year! A little bitter sweet since Paige will no longer be in my class! My students did their annual musical play the last couple of days of school. They were a different bunch this year, meaning they were not as into the play as some of my students have been in the past, or me for that matter! But it ended up turning out great! They especially did a super job for their parents, and that's ultimately what matters most!

One last note. . .remember the student I wrote about earlier that told me I had too much "JuNk" in my trunk? Well on the last day of school, on his way out, he kindly turned around and said, "Bye, Mrs. Crap!" It took everything I had to keep my foot planted on the ground, and not on his behind!!! Seriously. . .it's going to be a good summer!
